At the end of May I put up a brief post about Roz Savage and her quest to row across the Pacific Ocean to raise awareness around environmental issues. I have followed her progress on her blog as she makes her way from San Francisco to Hawaii on the first leg of her adventure. Her attitude, optimism, generosity, and worldview are nothing short of amazing. Even following a harrowing story involving her difficulty climbing back into her boat after fixing her sea anchor, she literally comes up smiling.
Her progress has been slow but steady in recent weeks as the orange line on the Marinetrack console representing her travels moves ever westward toward Hawaii. However, as closely as I’ve followed Roz in past weeks, I’ve been a bit remiss lately, and I haven’t kept up with her journey in a little while. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked on her blog and saw her latest location.
All I can say is, way to go Roz!
